Investment worth Rs 600 crore planned by Mother Dairy
The wholly owned subsidiary of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), Mother Dairy, has planned an investment worth Rs 600 crore to build two new processing plants in Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh. As per the firm, the plant in Gujarat would cost Rs 400 crore and be completed in two years.
On the other hand, the Andhra Pradesh plant to be set at Kuppam will cost Rs 150-200 crore. Further, the firm has planned a new Nagpur plant for milk processing which is set to begin operations by 2026.
